RESOLUTION DECLARING FIRE VEHICLE EQUIPMENT SURPLUS
AND AUTHORIZING THE SALE THEREOF
WHEREAS, staff has determined that Unit #9385 - 1975 Howe Fire Engine
vehicle is no longer of any use to the City; and
WHEREAS, staff requested the City Council take an action to surplus this vehicle
so that staff may dispose of it while some residual value still exists;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the equipment listed is declared
surplus to the City's needs and is no longer required by the City and has some salvage
value;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Manager is hereby authorized to sell
and/or dispose of surplus fire equipment by bid, by public auction, or by private sale, as he
deems appropriate in the matter and in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 3.12 of
the Petaluma Municipal Code.
Under thepower and authority conferred upon this Council by the Charter of said City.
