As a resident of PEP Housing I was quite :upset to learn that the City Council is considering
discontinuing Paratransit= service to my neighbors. Having seen my fellow residents waitin4,
in their wheelchairs and walkers,.for the Paratrar sit. bus to arrive to take them to doctor's
appointments and other important errands, I can't imagine how they would get around to
care for their basic needs.
Not having Paratransit services would further isolate those needing the services and preve'.q
them from maintaining an independent lifestyle.
Please do not deprive .our seniors further with more cutbacks
Sincerely, 1
