Summary Statement The developer of Suncrest Estates Subdivision, Larry Jonas, constructed offsite
storm drain improvements on Sunnyslope Road. Mr., Jonas is 'requesting the City Council approve and
enter into a reimbursement agreement as allowed by municipal code section 15.36.030.
Recommended City Council Action /Suggested Motion Staff recommends that the City Council
approve the resolution for the Suncrest Estates Subdivision Storm Drain Reimbursement and authorize the
City Manager to sign the agreement.

RESOLUTION APPROVING: A STORM DRAIN REIMBURSEMENT AGREEMENT FOR
SUNCREST ESTATES 'SUBDIVISION
(Name of Project - Use Same Language as Found for the Agenda Title on the Agenda Bill)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY The developer of Suncrest Estates Subdivision, Larry Jonas, constructed offsite
storm drain improvements on Sunnyslope Road. Mr. Jonas is requesting `the City Council approve and
enter into a reimbursement agreement as allowed by municipal code section 15.36.030.
2. BACKGROUND Developer Larry Jonas installed an offsite storm drain system improvement on
Sunnyslope Road as part of the Suncrest Estates Subdivision (see site map). He is requesting the City
Council approve and enter into a storm drain reimbursement agreement. The municipal code section
15.36.030 provides for reimbursement to applicants who install storm drain improvements that benefit
properties other than those owned by the applicant
The total reimbursement cost install the storm drain improvements was $43,715.16. Assessment of
cost to individual parcels benefiting from the improvements are based on the percentage of storm water
., runoff. Each parcel's contribution.percentage is listed on Exhibit A. Payment of the contribution
percentage is made at the time of parcel. development. Parcels that remain undeveloped are not required
to make payments.
ALTERNATIVES Deny request.

5.. CONCLUSION The developer meets, the requirement for reimbursement and has provided the necessary
assessment of costs to benefiting parcels. Staff has reviewed the application and recommends approval.
6. OUTCOMES OR PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS THAT WILL IDENTIFY SUCCESSOR COMPLETION:

RESOLUTION APPROVING A STORM DRAIN REIMBURSEMENT AGREEMENT.
FOR LARRY JONAS, THE DEVELOPER OF SUNCREST ESTATES SUBDIVISION
AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO SIGN SAID AGREEMENT.
WHEREAS, Larry Jonas, the developer of Suncrest Estates Subdivision constructed
offsite storm drain improvements on Sunnyslope. Road and has requested a
reimbursement per section 15.36.30 of the municipal code,
THEREFORE, be it resolved, that the storm drain reimbursement agreement is
approved and the City Manager is authorized to sign the agreement,
