6 RESOLUTION OF TAE CITY OF PETALUMA
7 REQUESTING ADDITIONAL TIME TO REVIEW
x PROPOSED LAFCO POLICY PERTAINING TO
9 AGRICULTURAL LANDS

13 WHEREAS, the City of Petaluma has received the proposed policy to be considered by
1~ LAFCO regarding the potential conversion of agricultural lands to urban uses; and

16 WHEREAS, the City of Petaluma recognizes the importance of said proposed policy; and

Ix WI-IEREAS, the City Council of the City of Petaluma has briefly discussed the proposed
19 policy.

21 NOW, THEREFORE,. BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Petaluma hereby respectfully
22 requests that LAFCO delay the discussion and adoption of said proposed policy until at
23 ]east February ]997 to allow additional time for affected jurisdictions to review and
2a comment upon the proposed policy.
