Summary Statement
The Resolution establishing the Animal Services, Advisory Committee did not address vacancies
and /or attendance guidelines. The City Clerk's Office was asked to review documents and propose
language similar to the city's other boards,, committees and .com_mssions regarding attendance and
vacancies. Language addressing that issue is proposed for Council's consideration.

RESOLUTION SETTING GUIDELINES FOR.ATTENDANC.E, I FOR MEMBERS OF THE ANIMAL
SERVICES ADVISORY COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, , the City Council created an Animal Services Advisory
Committee on June 22, 1998 by approving Res.ol0fi6hr.98-126 N.C.S.;
WHEREAS, the Animal Services Advisory. Committee desires to set
standards for attendance by those mernbers Committee,
NOW, THEREFORE, YE IT RESOLVED that the City C'oUqcil requests that guidelines
regarding vacancies on the Animal. Services: Advisory' sory' Committee with
other boards, committees, and commissions in the City Which shall be the
following:
VACANCIES: Upon the death,, resignation, disability that results in the
inability of a 'member to perform the duties of a mem.ber.of the Animal Services
Advisory Committee, -the IOSS Of permanent residency from the,
