6 AWARDING CONTRACT FOR PROJECT NO. 9916,
7 RE-COATING THE INTERIOR OF EAST WASHINGTON
8 WATER STORAGE TANK NUMBER 1

12 WHEREAS, seven bids were received on May 18, 1995 for Project No. 9916, re-coating the
13 interior of East Washington water storage tank number 1.

15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council that the contract be awarded
16 to R & B Protective Coatings, Inc., Post Office Box 652, Linden, California 95236, in the amount of
17 $150,000.

19 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute the
20 contract with R & B Protective Coatings, Inc., subject to the review and approval of all contract
21 documents, insurance certificates and bonds by the City Attorney.
