Resolution No. 2020-184 N.C.S.
of the City of Petaluma, California
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING COMPLETION OF THE COUNTRY CLUB AND
VICTORIA PUMP STATION IMPROVEMENT PROJECT BY CLYDE G. STEGALL INC.
WHEREAS, staff prepared construction bid documents and advertised for construction of the Country
WHEREAS, in accordance with the City of Petaluma Charter and Municipal Code, California Public
Contract Code Section 20162 and other applicable law, staff solicited bids for the Project; and
WHEREAS, the Project was bid on September 26, 2019, and three bids were received and opened on
October 22, 2019 in accordance with applicable law; and
WHEREAS, the lowest responsible bid for the Project was submitted by Clyde G. Steagall, Inc. from
Loomis, CA for $1,116,576; and
WHEREAS, by Resolution No 2019-175 N.C.S. adopted November 18, 2019, the City Council found
the bid of $1,116,576 for the project to be the lowest responsive bid, awarded the project to Clyde G.
required documents and authorized and directed the City Manager to sign the project agreement on behalf
of the City; and
WHEREAS, the following contract change orders (CCO) for modifications and revisions to project
site concrete, materials, and infrastructure and construction items affecting the project amount have been
approved:
Cost
Change Order #1 $ 30,594.63
Total Change Orders and decrease in quantities $30,594.63; and
WHEREAS the final contract amount, as amended, including all change orders, overruns, and
underruns, is $1,147,170,63 and is within the approved project budget; and
WHEREAS, based on the foregoing, staff recommends acceptance of the project on behalf of the
City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Petaluma as follows:
1. The contract entitled Country Club and Victoria Pump Station Improvement Project, project no.
C67401917, with the final contract amount of $1,147,170.63 is accepted as complete, subject to
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to file a Notice of Completion concerning the

3. Staff is hereby authorized and directed to release all undisputed retention not subject to pending
change orders within sixty (60) days of the date of this Resolution and in accordance with the terms
of the project contract, California Public Contract Code Section 7107, and applicable law.
Under the power and authority conferred upon this Council by the Charter of said City.
REFERENCE: I hereby certify the foregoing Resolution was introduced and adopted by the
Council of the City of Petaluma at a Regular meeting on the 21st day of
