Through my work with Daily Acts, I organize maintenance days for the Permaculture food forest at Cavanagh Recreation center on 8th street, so I am intimately aware of maintenance needed for community gardens. I also initiated the lawn transformation at the Petaluma library that has since become a community gathering spot and waterwise children's education garden. 1 have lived in Petaluma all my life and so am very familiar with all our parks.
