HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 95-282 11/06/1995 ~ ~es®llltl®1`Z Nom. 95-282 N of the City of Petaluma, California RESOLUITON FINDING AND DE'I'ERIVIINING THAT THE PUBLIC CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY REQUIRE "I`HE CONSTRUCTION OF THE IMPROVEMENTS IN ASSESSMENT DIS'1'IZICT NO. 23, REDWOOD BUSINESS PARK 3 The City Council of the City of Petaluma resolves: A public hearing for which notice has been given by publication, posting and mailing, has been held as to the public convenience and necessity of the .improvements in Assessment District No. 23, Redwood Business Park 3, City of Petaluma, Sonoma County, California. "Phis City Council has heard and considered all the evidence, both oral and written, relative to the public convenience and necessity of the construction of improvements, and finds that the public convenience and necessity require the following improvements proposed to be constructed in Assessment District No. 23, Redwood Business Park 3, City of Petaluma, Sonoma County, California: The acquisition and construction of the following improvements, located within or adjacent to land within the City of Petaluma, California designated as Sonoma County Assessor's Parcel Numbers 047-55-01. to 0.47-55-06 inclusive. a. Construction of an extension and improvements to North McDowell Boulevard. b. Construction of a bridge on North McDowell over Willow Brook Creek. c. A portion of the road and bridge improvements on Old Redwood Highway adjacent to the project, including the replacement of the Old Redwood Highway bridge over Willow Brook Creek. d. Utility improvements, including storm drainage, water and. gas, and underground telephone, electrical and cable "[V. e. Widening of Willow E3rook Creek between Old Redwood Highway and U.S. Route 101. f. The payment of permits, licenses, and the construction of all auxiliary work necessary to complete the above described. Hes. N~.......9.5.-.2.8.2....... N.cs. and further determines that the Special Assessment Investigation, Limitation and Majority Protest Act of 1931. shall not apply to these assessment proceedings and that this project shall proceed in accordance with the terms and provisions of the Municipal Improvement Act of 1913- Under the power and authority conferred upon this Council by the Charter of said City.
