HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 94-51 03/07/1994Resolution No. 94-51 N.C.S. of the City of Petaluma, California RESOLUTION RESCINDING RESO. 93-110 NCS REGARDING POLICY FOR OPENING CEREMONIES WHEREAS, the Petaluma City Council has over the last several months considered whether or not there should be an invocation at the beginning of the regular evening meetings; and WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution 93-110 NCS on May 3, 1.993, which set forth a policy for `Opening Ceremonies of Public Meetings" conducted by the Petaluma City Council; and, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Petaluma City Council that Resolution 93-110 is hereby rescinded; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that each evening meeting of the Petaluma City Council will begin with a moment of silence. Under the power and authority conferred upon this Council by the Charter of said City.
