5 RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING RESIDENTIAL PERMIT PARKING ZONE A

8 WHEREAS, the Petaluma campus of Santa Rosa Junior College is scheduled to open
9 for classes in January, 1995; and
10
11 W~IEREAS, neighboring residents have expressed concern over impacts to parking in
12 their neighborhoods upon the opening of the new Santa Rosa Juluor College site; and
13
14 WHEREAS, the City Council has previously passed legislation to enable the creation of
15 Permit Parking Zones.

17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council hereby establishes
18 Permit Parking Zone A, as shown in Exhibit A, to alleviate potential parking concerns voiced by
19 residents because of the opening of the Santa Rosa Junior College Petaluma Campus. Said zone
20 is to be in place and effective by January 1, 1995.
