ACCEPTING COMPLETION OF THE PETALUMA MUNICIPAL AIRPORT
O.C. JONES CONTRACT
1 WHEREAS, the City Council awarded the construction contract for AIP #3-06-1086-09 taxiways
2 and hangar site work at the Petaluma Municipal Airport on Apri14, 1994; and

4 WHEREAS, O.C. Jones & Sons, 1520 Fourth Street, Berkeley, CA 94710 has completed the
5 work, to the satisfaction of the consulting engineer and the Airport Manager;
6
7 WHEREAS, change orders totaling $15,729.31 were necessary;
8
9 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Petaluma that the
10 project is hereby accepted and the contract be amended to $552,120.71;
11
12 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City clerk is hereby authorized to sign the Notice of
13 Completion and the City Clerk to file the same with the County Recorder;
14
15 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Finance Department is hereby authorized to release the
16 balance of funds in the amount of $55,154.47 to O.C. Jones & Sons, 1520 Fourth Street,
17 Berkeley, CA 94710; thirty-five (35) days after the recordation of the Notice of Completion
18 provided that no liens or stop notices have been filed against the project.
Under the power and authority conferred upon this Council by the Charter of said City.
