Meyer, City Manager SUBJ: Matters related to Employees and Meet & Confer I make the following recommendation as required by City Charter, Section 28. A. Concur with the provisions Setforth, in. signed Memorandum of Understandings as . developed through Meet & Confer concerning employees in. Units 2, '3, . 4, 5, 6 and 7 regarding salaries and supplement wage benefits.; I' recommend these be ratified .by the City Council effective July 1, 1978:. B. Employees in Unit 1 and Management Employees receive the same level of supplemental wage benefits . ,as' provided for Unit 1 and :Management Employe in= = -19`77 -78 effecte July 1, 1978. C. Employees in Unit 1 and Management ° Employees, except those. listed in paragraph "D", receive a salary increase of five percent (50) effective July 1, 197'8:' D. Management :Employees who currently are at or above. $26,000 per year :remain at their same annual salary amount as provided in 1977 -78 as follows: CITY MANAGER,, CITY .ENGINEER, CITY FINANCE OFFICER, POLICE CHIEF and CITY ATTORNEY. Additionally, the ASSISTANT CITY MANAGER- PERSONNEL OFFICER, whose salary is well, below the $26,000 per year level, has volunteered to be included with the. Council's action regarding these Executive Management. Employees. Also, as discussed with the Council Committee,, the City Council review the salaries for these positions for a possible increase within six months. As discussed with the Council Committee, I concur that we reaffirm our mutually established agreement that ninety (90) days notice is required by either party (City Council and City Manager) prior to termination of service the parties obert H H.
