of the City of Petaluma, California
RESOLUTION APPOINTING INTERIM MEMBERS
OF THE SENIOR ADVISORY COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, the City Council disbanded the Senior Center Advisory Committee in 1989
due to a lack of participation; and,
WHEREAS, in 1993 members of the Petaluma Senior Center, working with the
Recreation, Music and Parks Commission established asub-committee to the Commission to
represent the interests of seniors and to promote senior activities; and,
WHEREAS, members of the Senior Center Advisory Sub-Committee have been very
active in working with staff to promote senior activities, classes and trips; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has introduce an ordinance which would expand the duties
of and reinstate a re-named Senior Advisory Committee for the city.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Petaluma does hereby appoint the following current members of the senior center advisory sub-
committee to serve interim terms commencing on the effective date of Ordinance No. 2260
N.C.S. and concluding on June 30, 2007: Stan Conn (Chair), Lorraine McEvoy (Secretary),
Virginia Anderson, Florein Caple, Margaret Enea-Patrizi, Rene Hughes, Gloria Naylor, Sharon
Linder (Alternate), Hal Warren (Alternate).
Under the power and authority conferred upon this Council by the Charter of said City.
