RESOLUTION AMENDING THE 2006-2007 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK
GRANT (CDBG) ACTION PLAN TO ALLOCATE UNEXPENDED 2005-06 REVENUE
WHEREAS, the City of Petaluma functions as an "entitlement jurisdiction" under the
U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development's Community Development Block Grant
program; and,
WHEREAS, as an entitlement jurisdiction, the City operates within the confines of a
five-year Consolidated Plan and aone-year Action Plan; and,
WHEREAS, those documents require that "any program or project change which
constitutes a modification of 10% of the annual allocation shall require formal review and
approval by the Council"; and,
WHEREAS, the Petaluma Block Grant program has unexpended revenue in the amount
of $160,000 which constitutes 33% of our annual allocation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council hereby allocates the
unexpended 2005-06 revenues to the follow projects:
Emergency Housing Generator $ 50,000
Crosswalk Improvements 80,000
CRI: Housing for Disabled 30,000
Total $160,000
Under the power and authority conferred upon this Council by the Charter of said City.
