A. Funds are to be allocated to each `project to the 'amount of c]ai'm shown on
the project. list. :.
B,.' In -the event that the amount of funds available: foto this purpose does not
equal $49,473, the difference will be distributed to 1i`sted projects of
the claimaints, shown on the project Mist, in proportion to the population
of such. c1aimGnts.
C. In the event that a fisted project i.s determined to be not eligible', or if
funds are not claimed for a particular project;, or if a claiirant determines,
that it does not wish to use these funas fora parti'cu'lar project,, the
allocation for that project wi'l l be al l oca-ted in the follow ng, order of
pr-eT.erence.:

A. Funds avai°fable under. Section 09233.3 of the Public Ut.ilri.ties Code shall
be .distributed pursuant to Section 09234 of .the P'u'blic Utilities ; Code,
B. Funds' avai l;abl e under Section 99233.8 are to be allocated to eligible
applicants 'i n accordance ani th the fol l owi ng
1. The -maximum Article 4 entitlement of the Golden Gate Bridge, Highway
and Transportation D`i stri ct shall be the sum of the .followi ng
a. For inter -county service, a percenta9e of the total funds
available under this Section B, based upon level of service
and popul at'Ton served.
b. For local service on inter -county routes, a percentage of
the total funds available under this Section B.based upon
level of service and.population served,
c. An amount equal to.the remaining projected annual deficit
for the year of claim of local service, fess Section 5 funds
(I'lational Plass Transportation Assistance :Act) available to
the District from the Santa Rosa Urbanized Area for local
service.
2, The maximum Article 4 entitlement of the,County or cities shall equal
the claimant's Article 4 area.apportionment less those portions of the
Article 4 claim ,by the Golden Gate Bridge, Highway and Transportation
District which are applicable to the claimant's area.
a. Funds allocaaed pursuant to Section B(1)(a) shall be applicable
to the County, Sebastopol, Santa Rosa, Rohnert Park, Cotati
and Petaluma in proportion to their respective populations.
b. Funds allocated pursuant to Section'B(1).(b) shall be applicable
to the -County,, 'Santa Rosa, Rohnert Park, Cotat.i and Petaluma
in proportion to their respective populations.
c. Funds received by Golden Gate Bridge, Highway and Transportation
District pursuant to Section B(1)(c) are applicable to County,
Santa Rosa, Rohn'ert Park, Cotati, and' Petaluma in the amount
determined below.
(i) The portion of the amount determined in Section B(1)(c)
applicable to the Santa Rosa Urbanized Area shall be
that portion of the remaining local service :deficit that
the population of Santa Rosa and Rohnert Park bears to
the population of Santa Rosa, Rohnert Park, Cotati, and
Petaluma, said portion being further reduced -by Section
5 funds available to and claimed by the,Golden Gate
Bridge,'Highway and Transportation District. The portion
thus determined shall be applicable to Santa Rosa, County,
and Rohnert Park on the basis of population except that
only 67.70 percent of the County's unincorporated population
shall be used for such computation.
-The portion of the amount determined in Section a('l (.c)
aopl i'cabT=e outside the. Santa Rosa Urbanized Area shall be :
.'that portion of the remaini`nq local service deficit that
the popul.atign of Rohnert Park and Cotati .bears to the
Population of Rohr.ert Park, Santa. Rosa, C`otat ,: and Peta
