HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 92-090 04/20/1992R~SOIUtI®rl N~. 92-90 N.C.S. - s~ of the City of Petaluma, California 1 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING STREET CLOSURE 2 FOR BUTTER AND EGGS DAY PARADE 3 APRIL 25, 1992 AND 4 APRIL 26, 1992 FOR A STREET FAIRE 5 6 7 WHEREAS, the Petaluma Main Street Association is sponsoring 8 the annual Butter and Eggs Days History Week from April 17, to 9 April 26, 1991. 10 11 WHEREAS, the Petaluma Main Street Association is also 12 sponsoring the Butter and Eggs Day Parade on April 25th, and have 13 coordinated the details of the parade with the Police Department; 14 and 15 WHEREAS, the Petaluma Main Street Association is also 16 sponsoring a street Faire and have coordinated details with the 17 Police Department, 18 19 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Police Department is 20 authorized to close certain downtown streets between the hours of 21 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 25, 1991, for the 22 purpose of conducting a parade per the route identified on the 23 attached map attached as Exhibit "A", and the closure of Kentucky 24 Street between B Street and Washington Street on Sunday, April 25 26, .1991, between 4 a.m. and 6 p.m. for a street Faire. (fact 26 sheet attached). Under the power and authority conferred upon this Council by the Charter of said City.
