A RESOLiITION OF PRELIIVIINARY APPRO~IAL OF
ENGINEER'S REPOR'T' FOR
LANDSCAPE ASSESSIVIENT DISTRICTS
FISCAL YEAR 1992-93
WTIEREAS, the City Council of Petaluma did adopt. that certain
Resolution ,Describing Improvements and Directing Preparation of Engineer's
Report for Fiscal Year 1992-93 and pursuant to the Landscaping and Lighting Act
of 1972, for the Landscape Assessment Districts, in said City,listed in Exhibit A
attached hereto,. and did refer the proposed improvements to the Engineer of
Work, and did therein direct said Engineer of Work prepare and file with City
Clerk of said City a report on each district, in writing, all as therein more
particularly described, under and pursuant to the Landscaping and Lighting Act of
1972.
WPIEREAS, said Engineer of Work prepared and filed with the City Clerk
of said City reports on each district, in writing as called for in said Resolution and
under a pursuant to said Act, which reports heave been presented to this Council
for consideration; and
WI~TEREAS, said Council has duly considered each report and each and
every part thereof, and finds that each and every part of said reports is sufficient,
and that neither said reports, nor any part thereof should be modified in any
respect;
EE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Petaluma, County of
Sonoma as follows:
1. That the plans and specifications for the existing improvements within
the assessment districts listed in Exhibit A or within any zone thereof, contained
in said report for each district, be, and they are hereby, preliminarily approved.
2. That the Engineer's estimate of the itemized and total costs and
expenses of said improvements, maintenance and servicing thereof, and of the
incidental expenses in connection therewith, contained in said reports, be, and
each of them are hereby, preliminarily approved.
3. That the diagram showing the exterior boundaries of the assessment
districts referred to and described in said Resolution and also the boundaries of
any zones therein and the lines and dimensions of each lot or parcel of land within
said districts as such lot or parcel of land is shown on the County Assessor's maps
for the fiscal year to which the report for each district applies, each of which lot or
parcel of land has been given a separate number upon said diagram, as contained
in said reports, be, and it is hereby preliminarily approved.

2 4. That the proposed assessment of the total amount of the estimated costs
3 and expenses of the proposed improvements upon the several parcels of land in
4 each district in proportTOn to the estimated benefits to be received by such
5 parcels, respectively, from said improvements including the maintenance or
6 servicing, or both thereof, and of the expenses incidental thereto, as contained in
7 said reports, be, and they are hereby, preliminarily approved.

9 5. That said reports shall stand as the Engineer's Report for each
10 individual District as listed in Exhibit A for the purpose of all subsequent
11 proceedings to be had pursuant to said Resolution .
