of the City of Petaluma, California
RESOLDTION OF INTENTION TO DETACH TERRITORY
FROM CASA DEL ORO LANDSCAPING ASSESSMENT DISTRICT
as follows:
The City Council of the City of Petaluma, County of Sonoma, resolves
On December 16, 1985, by its Resolution No. 85-392 N.C.S., this
Council ordered the formation of the Casa Del Oro Landscaping Assessment
District (the "Assessment District") pursuant to the Landscaping and Lig?lting Act
of 1972 of the State of California. On December 1, 1.986, by its Resolution No. 86-
317 N.C.S., this Council ordered the annexation to that assessment district of the
territory described in Exhibit A attached hereto and by reference incorporated
herein ("Annexation No. 1"), and also generally known as Josette Court.
The City's Planning Director and Finance Director have
recommended to this Council that Annexation No. 1 now be detached from the
Assessment District, in that a change in street plans and the subdivision of
adjacent land have made it unnecessary for the City to maintain existing street
trees on Josette Court.
NOW, THEREFORE, it is the intention of this City Council to
detach Annexation No. 1 from the Casa Del Oro Assessment District pursuant to
Section 22609 of the Streets and Highways. Code of the State of California.
At 7 p.m. on Monday, July 6, 1992, in the Chambers of the City
Council at Petaluma City Hall, 11 English Street, Petaluma, California, this City
Council will conduct a public hearing on the question of this detachment.
The City Clerk is directed to give notice of the public hearing by
publishing this resolution pursuant to Section 6061 at least ten. days before the
hearing.
Under the powez and authority conferred upon this Council by the Charter of said City.
