HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 2006-189 N.C.S. 11/06/2006 Resolution No. 2006-189 N.C.S. of the City of Petaluma, California RESOLUTION REIMBURSING PETER PFENDLER FOR COST OF .INSTALLING UNDERGROUND INFRASTRUCTURE IN 1988 FOR FUTURE DEVELOPMENT OFF OF EXECUTIVE DRIVE, AND GRANTING HIM THE OPTION TO EXTEND HIS LEASE FOR (10) TEN YEARS WHEREAS, in 1988, when Mr. Pfendler developed his executive hangar off of Executive Drive, the City of Petaluma conditioned that he provide utility infrastructure for all six of the undeveloped lots; to be reimbursed as each lot was improved; and, WHEREAS, in 1996 the City developed three of the six lots for which Mr. Pfendler is owed $14,750; and, WHEREAS, this amount has been adjusted to $11,228.12 to account for $3,520.88 in outstanding rent owed the City; and, WHEREAS, at its February 2, 2006 meeting, the Petaluma Airport Commission recommended that Mr. Pfendler be reimbursed $11,228.12 through $700 reductions in his semi- annual rent payments; and, WHEREAS, the Airport Commission also recommended that Mr. Pfendler be given the option to extend his lease for (10) ten years. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Petaluma hereby authorizes reimbursement to Mr. Peter Pfendler in the amount of $11,228.12 by way of $700 semi-annual rent reductions, and grants him the option to extend his lease for ten years, subject to obtaining a mutually agreeable lease. Under the power and authority conferred upon this Council by the Charter of said City.
