24 for additional compensation submitted by Kiewit Pacific Company to the City concerning the Ellis

42 Zen Destiny, Petaluma, complimented the officers in the Police Department. He further stated
43 that he does not want any registered Democrats to speak to him on Thursdays.

45 Bryant Moynihan, Petaluma, encouraged the Council to "do your job" and "stop violating the
46 City Charter."

48 Wendy Thomas, Petaluma Coalition to Prevent Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drug Problems,
49 Petaluma, asked the Council to agendize a fee structure to support an alcohol control
50 officer. They have also received a grant to address the alcohol problems in Petaluma and want
51 to partner with city so the money is used appropriately.

1 Laurel Powers and John Hill, Jr., Petaluma, encouraged the Council to support a County -wide
2 plastic bag ban and a fee on paper bags.

4 Peter Tscherneff, Petaluma, spoke about attorneys, law enforcement and fireworks.

6 Melissa Bushway, Petaluma, spoke about banning plastic bags. She stated there are 500 billion
7 plastic bags used per year. Further, 100,000 marine mammals killed each year and if the birds
8 are included, that number climbs to a billion animals all due to the plastic bags.

10 Katherine Bobrowski, Petaluma, spoke about the illegally parked vehicles in her mobile home
11 park.

13 Colleen Fernald, Sebastopol, stated that she wants to see efficient government that is well
• 14 funded where basic services are met, including a clean water supply and clean air to breathe.

16 John Bertucci, Petaluma, speaking as a concerned citizen in support of what occurred in
17 Baltimore, Maryland today. The United States Conference of Mayors called on Congress to
18 bring the war dollars home.

20 Noel Agajan, Petaluma, spoke about the backstop at St. Vincent's High School. He stated that
21 he went to the Planning Department and confirmed that the height of the backstop is higher
22 than what was permitted.

14 Downtown Association's concerns about the project.

16 Linda Postenrieder, Petaluma, Co -Owner Pelican Art Gallery, Petaluma, stated her
17 concerns about the proposed road diet. As a business owner she is against the
18 road diet due to traffic concerns. As a cyclist, she feels the road diet will be more
19 of a danger because there is no delineation of where the bikers are in the lane.
