A DESIGNATION OF URBAN SEPARATOR. (AP No. 136-070-19) WHEREAS, the Petaluma City Planning Commission has reviewed the proposed amendment to the General Plan Land Use Element (Map) and held a public hearing on July 23, 1991, and after said hearing recommended approval of the amendment in their report filed with the City Clerk as set forth in the minutes of the meeting. WHEREAS, the County .Airport Land Use Commission reviewed the proposed amendment and future conceptual plans for a golf course on April 10th, 1991 and found the proposed amendment and golf course plan consistent with the Airport Land Use Plan subject to certain height limitations defined by federal aviation regulations and recommended the dedication of an avigation easement. WHEREAS, the County Local Agency Formation Commission reviewed the proposed amendment to the City's Sphere of Influence and application for annexation on August 1st, 1991 and approved the amendment and annexation as proposed. WHEREAS, the City Council reviewed the proposed amendment and held a public hearing on August 19th, 1991 and made the following findings: 1. The proposed amendment is deemed to be in the public interest to provide for public recreation opportunities and ensure compatibility with airport operations. 2. The proposed amendment is consistent and compatible with the rest of the General Plan and any implementation programs that may be affected as analyzed in the staff report and Initial Study. ......7.1 ._ p,.~....... The potential impacts of the proposed amendment have been assessed and as 2 conditioned have been determined not to be detrimental to the public health, safety 3 or welfare. 4 4. The proposed amendment has been processed in accordance with the applicable 5 provisions of the California Government Code and the California Environmental 6 Quality Act (CEQA). 7 8 NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the following amendment is hereby 9 adopted and ordered incorporated on the General Plan Land Use Element map on file in 10 the office of the Community Development Department: 11 12 1. Amend the Urban Limit Line to include the 33 acre parcel (AP No. 136-070-19) 13 with a land use designation as Urban Separator as shown in Exhibit A. 14 15 GolfReso/jb6 Under the power and authority conferred upon this Council by the Charter of said City.
