RESOLUTION TO SUMMARILY VACATE AND ABANDON A PORTION OF
PANDA PLACE IN THE CITY OF PETALUMA
WHICH PORTION HAS BEEN SUPERSEDED BY RELOCATION A'~~D3
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXCHANGE
THE SAME TO THE ADJACENT PROPERTY OWNERS, AND
THE CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE THE NECESSARY CONVEYANCE
BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Petaluma does hereby find and determine that the
real property described below is no longer needed for street purposes, having been
superseded by relocation, and the same should and is hereby summarily abandoned
pursuant to Section 833D of the Streets and Highways Code, said real property being
described as follows:
All that certain real property in the City of Petaluma, County of Sonoma, State of
California, described as follows:
PARCEL ONE: (A FEE)
Being a portion of the lands conveyed to Joseph and Pearson by deed recorded in Book
3260 of Official Records, page 28, by deed recorded in Book 2454 of Official Records,
page 222 and by deed recorded in Book 2240 of Official Records, page 256, located in
Section 32, Township 5 North, Range 7 West, M.D.& M. ,City of Petaluma,
California, and more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at a set iron pipe on the Westerly boundary of said lands, distant South
0° 15' 30" West, 43.01 feet from the center line of Bodega Avenue; thence parallel
with and distant 43 feet Southerly from said center line South 87° 53' 40" East, 236.06
feet to a set iron pipe; thence on a tangent curve to the right, radius 30 feet, through a
central angle of 87° 51' 10" an arc length of 46.00 feet to a set iron pipe; thence South

10 bears South 0° 02' 30" East, 13.00 feet; thence. along said Southerly line North 87°
11 53' 40" West, 304.92 feet to a point on said Westerly boundary; .thence along said
12 boundary South 0° 15' 30" West,. 13.00 feet to the point of beginning.

23 California, and being an easement for public utilities, 10 foot wide, located adjacent to
24 the boundary -line of defining the road strip parcel described above; lying on the

13 an angle point in the boundary of said lands,, and the point of termination.

15 All set pipes are 1/2 inch diameter.,. tagged RCE 1.1226; and were set during a survey in
16 August, 1977 by Burton Engineers, Petaluma, California.

20 BE IT FFURT'~-IER RESOLVED that the City Manager or his representative is hereby
21 authorized °to exchange the said real property to the adjacent property owners, and upon
22 such exchange, the City Clerk is authorized to execute a conveyance of said real
23' property.

2 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk is hereby directed to record this
3 resolution with the County Recorder pursuant to Section 8335 of the Streets and
4 Highways Code.
