HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 91-223 08/05/1991resolution No. 91-223 N.C.S. of the City of Petaluma, California APPIZ®VI1~TG EMEIZGEI`1CY IZEPAIIZS F®I~ AIVIEIJLANCE ~-91 WIIEIZEAS, City Ambulance M-91 was out of service due to engine failure; and WI~IE1tEAS, Investigation revealed the engine had a cracked piston; and, W~IEIZEAS, The engine has 109,000 miles, consumed oil at an unacceptable reat and had excessive "blow-by", all indicators pointed to engine replacement; and, N®W, TI3EIZEFOItE, BE IT ICES®I.VEI~ that the City Council of the City of Petaluma hereby authorizes replacement of the Ambulance M- 91 engine with a new long block engine at a cost of $5,841.47 to be paid from the Ambulance Enterprize Fund. Under the power and authority conferred upon this Council by the Charter of said City.
