HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 91-155 06/03/1991r 1 Res®Il.ltion No. 91-155 N C.~. of the City of Petaluma, California 2 A RESOLUTION APPROVING ISSUANCE OF A MITIGATED 3 NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR THE CREATION OF THE 4 CADER LANE INDUSTRIAL PARK LOCATED ON CADER LANE 5 AND SOUTH MCDOWELL BOULEVARD, AP NO.'S 005-040-41 AND 42 6 7 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has recommended issuance of a Mitigated Negative 8 Declaration pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) for a proposal 9 to create an eight parcel industrial park on property located at the intersection of Cader 10 Lane and South McDowell Boulevard; and 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 33 34 35 36 37 38 WHEREAS, an initial study has been prepared for the area and has been reviewed by the Community Development Department; and WHEREAS, the results of this study have determined that approval of this project, as conditionally approved, will not trigger any significant adverse environmental impacts; and WHEREAS, staff and the Planning Commission have recommended that a negative declaration be issued on the above project; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the issuance of said Negative Declaration, pursuant to CEQA, is hereby approved, based upon the following findings: Findin s: 1. The project, as conditionally approved, does not have the potential to degrade the quality of the enviroriment, substantially reduce the habitat of a fish or wildlife species, cause a fish or wildlife population to drop below self-sustaining levels, threaten to eliminate a plant or animal community, reduce the number or restrict the range of a rare or endangered plant or animal or eliminate important examples of the major periods of California history or prehistory. 2. The project, as conditionally approved, does not have the potential to achieve short- term to the disadvantage of long-term, environmental goals. 3. The project, as conditionally approved, does not have environmental effects which will cause substantial adverse effects on human beings, either directly or indirectly. 5. The project is consistent with and further promotes the objectives, goals, and policies of the General Plan.
