HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 91-046 02/19/1991;~ ~r:~ _~ f•S e Resolution No. 91-46 N.C.s. of the City of Petaluma, California A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE 1991-92 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROJECTS FOR THE CITY OF PETALUMA WHEREAS, pursuant to the Community Development Block Grant Policies for Sonoma County, the City of Petaluma must submit its list of proposed projects for 1991-92 funding; and WHEREAS, proposals were solicited for projects designed to fulfill the goals and policies of both the Community Development Block Grant Program and the City Council of Petaluma; and. WHEREAS, a public hearing was held before the Petaluma City Council on February 19th, 1991 to hear testimony on the proposals submitted; NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Petaluma adopts the following projects for Community Development Block Grant Funds in 1991-92 as follows: Boys and Girls Club Roof Materials for New Club Building Burbank Housing Development Corporation Site Acquisition and Predevelopment Costs City of Petaluma/COTS Operation of Family Shelter City of Petaluma/COTS Administrative Assistance Petaluma. Ecumenical Project Site Acquisition Petaluma People Services Center Mediation Assistance Program $ 75,000.00 ,~ 1 $ 75,500.00 ~~ ~}~ W ~J $ 69,000.00 t~~ ~~ 4~~ o' $ 10,000.00 ~,''J $ 15,500.00 $ 30.000.00 TOTAL $275,000.00~1~ ~z~s. ho .............9.1.-.4.6.... n.c.s. 1 U, 1 (1) If Petaluma's 1991-92 Block Grant funding is more than $275,000, those additional 2 funds will be dispersed to the following organizations in the proportion outlined by 3 Council: 4 5 Petaluma Ecumenical Project 30% 6 Burbank Housing Development Corporation 30% 7 Boys and Girls Club 40% 8 9 If Petaluma's funding is less than $275,000, the funds allocated to those applicants listed 10 above will be cut in the same proportional amount as indicated above to make up the 11 difference. 12 13 14 15 cdbgreso/bg3 Under the power and authority conferred upon this Council by the Charter of said City.
