RESOLUTION TO SUMMARILY VACATE EXCESS RIGHT-OF-WAY
EASEMENT ALONG MARGO LANE AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO NEGOTIATE SALE OR EXCHANGE OF SAME TO
THE ADJACENT PROPERTY OWNERS; AND THE CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE THE
NECESSARY CONVEYANCE
BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Petaluma does hereby find and
determine that the real property described below is no Longer needed for
street and easement purposes, having been superseded by relocation, and
the same should and is hereby summarily abandoned pursuant to Section
8330 of the Streets and Highways Code, said real property being desceibed
in Exhibit A; attached hereto.
Under the power and authority conferred upon this Council by the Charter of said City.

An abandonment of portions of Margo Lane right-of-way and
public utility easement as shown on map entitled Madison
Manor Subdivision Unit No. 2 situate in the City of
Petaluma, County of Sonoma, State of California filed in
Book 317 of Maps at Pages 34 and 35, Sonoma County records
being more particularly described as follows:
RIGHT OF WAY:
.Commencing at the northeast corner of Lot 8 as shown on map
entitled Madison Manor Subdivision~Uni.t No. 2; thence along
the arc of a 20.39 foot radius curve to the right through a
central angle of 57° 12' 32" an ar-c distance of 20.36 feet
(the long chord of .which bears South 65° 24' 45" West a
distance' of 19.53 feet) thence North 8'5° 58' 59" West a
distance of 117.96.feet (record and measured) to the true
point of beginning (said point also on Margo Lane right-of-
way) thence along the arc. of a 25.00 foot radius curve to
the right through a central angle of 80~ 05' 13" an arc
distance of 34.94 feet (the long chord of which bears North
45° 56' 22" West a dist-ance of 3.2.17 feet) to a point of
reverse curvature thence along the. arc of a 50.00 foot
radius curve to the left through a central. angle of
74° 13' 52" an arc distance of 64.78 feet (the long chord of
which bears North 43° 00' 42" West a d,ist'ance of 60.34 feet)
thence North 80° 07' 38" West a distance of 50.00' to the
intersect-ion with Margo Lane right-of-way thence along Margo
Lane right-of-way the following courses and. distances thence
along the arc of a SO.OO foot radius curve~to the right
through a central angle of 78° 02 ^ ~. 25" an ar.c distance o;f
68.11 feet (the long chord of which bears South 41° 06' 25"
East a distance of 62.96 feet.) to a point of reverse
curvature whence along .the arc of :a 25.'00 foot radius curve

Said description of the area to be abandoned contains. +/-
3214 square feet, and
PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENT:
Public utilities easement appurtenant to Lot Number 9 and
portions of Lots 8 and 10 as shown. on .map entitled Madison
Manor Subdivision Unit No. 2 situate in the.City of
Petaluma, County of Sonoma, State of California, filed in
Book 317 of Maps at Pages 34 and 35, Sonoma County Records,.
being more particularly described as fo1 ows:
Commencing at the northeast corner of Lot 8 as shown on map
entitled Madison Manor Subdivision Unit No. 2.
Thence along the arc of a 20.39 foot radius curve to the
right through a central angle of 57° .12' 21" an arc distance
of 20.36 feet (the long chord of which bears South
65° 24' 45" West a distance of 19.53 feet).
Thence North 85° 58' 59" West a distance of 117.96 feet to
thetrue point of beginning. From said true point of
beginning the public utility easement will be described as
being l0 feet northerly, parallel and coincident to the
following courses and distances.
Thence along: .the arc of a 25 foot radius .cur-ve to the right
through a central angle of 80~ 05' 13" an'arc distance 34.94ii
feet ('the long chord of which bears North 45~ 56' 22" West a

distance of 32.17 feet to a point of a reverse curve to the
left).
Thence from said point of reverse curvature along the arc of
a 50 foot radius curve to the left through a central angle
of 74° 13' S2". an arc distance of 64.78 feet (the long chord
of which bears North 43° 00' 42" a distance of 60.34 feet to
a point of tangency).
Thence from said point of tangency North 80° 07' 38" West a
distance of 15.00' along the tangent to a point at which the
common boundary line of Lot 'Numbers 9 and 10 intersect said
tangent. (Said easement description being appurtenant to Lot
Number 9 and a~portion of Loa Number- 8.)
Also containing the following described parcel. Commencing
from the previous point of intersection described above,
said point also being the true point of beginning.
Thence from said point of beginning North 80° 07' 38" West a
distance of 1.89 feet to a point on curve. Thence from said
point along the. arc of a 6A.0`0 foot radius curve to the left
through a central angle o,f 3.3° 30' 44." an arc distance of
35.09 feet (the long chord of which bears North
63° 19' 17" West a distance of 34.60 feet).
Thence South 80° 07' 38" East a distance of 34.61 feet to a
point on the common boundary of Loa Numbers 9 and 10.
Thence from said point South 07° 38' S3" West a distance of
10.01 feet along said common boundary line to the true point
of beginning. `said parcel to contain +/- 123.5046 square
feet.. (S'ai'd easement description being appurtenant to a
portion of Lot ]:0.)
