RESOLUTION RELATIVE. TO. EXTENSION OF WEBSTER
STREET TO LAUREL STREET .

Regular Meeting of the City Council of the
City of Petaluma,on the 19th day of November 1973
WHEREAS, the Environmental Design Plan indicates Webster Street
to be extended so as to intersect Laurel Street; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has indicated such 'exten-
sion is of extremely low priority and not to be accomplished in the
reasonably near future; and
WHEREAS, this Council finds that because of the low priority
status it should declare its. intention that it does not now, or in the
foreseeable future , require the extension of Webster Street, .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that this Council declares that
it does not now intend to extend Webster Street,. nor does it intend to do
so in the foreseeable future and accordingly directs the appropriate
department of the City to issue building or other permits without regard
to the indicated extension .
under the power and authority conferred upon this Council by the Charter of said City.
I:hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regulary introduced and
adopted by the Council of the City of Petaluma on the 19th
day of November 19.73 by the following votes:
AYES: Councilmen Brunner, Cavanagh, Jr. ,. Daly, Harberson, Mattei ,
Perry, Jr. , and Mayor Putnam.
NOES: None .
ABSENT None.
