RESOLUTION OVERRULING PROTESTS
NORTH MCDOWELL BOULEVARD ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 17
The City Council of the City of Petaluma resolves:
On June 4, 1990, the City Council opened a public hearing
on the resolution of intention and the engineer's report on the
proposed improvement in North McDowell Boulevard Assessment
District No. 17, City of Petaluma, County of Sonoma, California.
At the time set for the public hearing, the City Council continued
the hearing to June 18, 1990. At the hearing on June 18, the City
Council further continued the hearing to July 2, 1990.
At or before the time set for the continuance of the
hearing, certain interested persons made. protests or objections to
the proposed improvement, the extent of the assessment district or
the proposed assessment.
The City Council hereby overrules each of these protests,
written or oral.
The City Council finds that the protest against the
proposed improvement (including all written protests not withdrawn
in writing before the conclusion of the protest hearing) is made by
the owners of less than one-half of the area of the land to be
assessed for the improvement.
