HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 90-223 07/02/1990ry p ' ~ 1 a~s®~l.,lt,lon N®. 90-223 N ~.~. of the City of Petaluma, California RESOLUTION FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE PUBLIC CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY REQUIRE THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE IMPROVEMENTS NORTH MCDOWELL BOULEVARD ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 17 The City Council of the City of Petaluma resolves: A public hearing for which notice has been given by publication, posting and mailing, has been held as to the public convenience and necessity of the improvements in North McDowell Boulevard Assessment District No. 17, City of Petaluma, County of Sonoma, California. This Council has heard and considered all the evidence, both oral and written, relative to the public convenience and necessity of the construction of improvements, and finds that the public convenience and necessity require the following improvements proposed to be constructed in North McDowell Boulevard Assessment District No. 17, City of Petaluma, County of Sonoma, California: The construction of streets, including clearing, grading, subbase, base, pavement, curbs and gutter, median island, and driveways; sidewalks; traffic signals; storm drainage facilities; sanitary sewers and appurtenances; domestic water services and fire hydrants; street lights and relocation of existing underground utilities; all with necessary appurtenances; together with the acquisition of all necessary interests in real property; The improvements shall. be constructed in North McDowell Boulevard between Corona Road and Lynch Creek Road and on Corona Road between the Northwestern Pacific Railroad crossing to U.S. Highway 101; and further determines that the Special Assessment Investigation, Limitation and Majority Protest Act of 1931 shall not apply to ~~ Fier. Under the power and authority conferred upon this Council by the Charter of said City.
