HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 90-281 08/06/1990~'2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 33 34 35 36 37 Resolution No. 90-281 NC.S. of the City of Petaluma, California A RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDMENTS TO THE GENERAL PLAN/ LAND USE ELEMENT, CAULFIELD AND MCDOWELL BOULEVARD SOUTH, AP NO.'s 007-510-16, 18, 21, AND 15 WHEREAS, the Petaluma City Planning Commission has reviewed the proposed amendment to the General Plan Land Use Element and has held a public hearing thereon, and after said hearing has made recommendations on said amendment; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission filed with the City Clerk its report as set forth in its minutes of July 10, 1990, recommending adoption of the said proposed amendment; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission and City Council have held public hearings on the proposed amendment as stated below; and WHEREAS, said public hearings were held on July 10, 1990 and August 6, 1990; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the following amendment is hereby adopted and ordered incorporated on the General Plan Land Use Element map on file in the office of the Community Development Department; 1. Petaluma Ecumenical Projects - (AP No.'s 007-570-16, 18, 21 and 15) General Plan Land Use Element amendment from Urban Standard to Urban High (with a density bonus of up to 50%) designation fora 59,000 square foot property, as referenced above. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council finds that the requirement of California Environmental Quality Act Guidelines have been satisfied and hereby incorporates by reference the environmental documentation adopted by Resolution No. 88- 87 N.C.S. on March 7, 1988. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council finds that the special nature and circumstances of this project warrants the waiving of the one year limitation to consideration of amendments to the General Plan; and 90-281 1 Rcs. N.C.S. ~1 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that pursuant to Section 65358(c) of the California 2 Government Code -Planning and Zoning Law, this General Plan Amendment is exempt 3 from the restriction of General Plan amendments to no more than four times per calendar 4 year. 5 6 7 8 pep3/council-2 Under the power and authority conferred upon this Council by the Charter of said City.
