HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 90-296 08/20/1990y r, yy ~ " ~~S®lut~~n N®. 90-296 N C.S. of the City of Petaluma, California RESOLUTION APPROVING AGREEMENT FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES PARK PLACE SUBDIVISION N0. 5 LANDSCAPE ASSESSMENT DISTRICT (Pursuant to the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972) The City Council of the City of Petaluma resolves: This City Council approves that certain agreement between the City of Petaluma, and Nystrom Engineering, for services as Engineer of Work for Park Place Subdivision No. 5 Landscape Assessment District, City of Petaluma, Sonoma County, California, dated the 20th day of August, 1990, and attached to this resolution. The Mayor is authorized to sign the agreement and the City Clerk is authorized to attest its execution. Under the power and authority conferred upon this Council by the Charter of said City. ', . 4 AGREEMENT FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES PARK PLACE SUBDIVISION NO. 5 LANDSCAPE ASSESSMENT DISTRICT This is an agreement for engineering services between the City of Petaluma, a municipal corporation of the State of California, referred to as Client, and NYSTROM ENGINEERING, referred to as Engineer. 1. Client retains Engineer as Engineer of Work for Park Place Subdivision No. 5 Landscape Assessment District, to perform the following services: (a) Preparation of the report required by the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972. (b) Compilation of a list of the names and addresses of all owners of land within the maintenance assessment district in accordance with records of the County Assessor or in accordance with title reports provided by the Client. (c) Attendance at meetings of Client's legislative body, when requested by Client's staff. (d) Attendance at staff meetings or meetings of property owners upon the request of the Client, after reasonable notice. (e) Attendance at staff meetings or meetings of property owners upon the request of the Client, after reasonable notice. (f) Telephone consultation with staff members and property owners to answer engineering questions about the assessment proceedings. . .a . 2. In consideration of the services set forth in Paragraph 1, Client shall pay to Engineer the amount of $3,000.
