RESOLUTION CONSENTING TO ANNUAL LITTLE LEAGUE PARADE

WHEREAS, Mr . Charles C . Carter ,' Vice 'President ,: National Little
League , has requested permission to, hold the Annual Little League Parade
on' Saturday, April 15 , 1972, in conjunction with the opening day ceremonies
of the Little 'League Season-. The parade is scheduled to commence at
9 : 00 o ' clock, a'.m. and will assemble 'and proceed' as 'follows;:'
The parade will ;start ..:at Walnut Park. and proceed northerly
on Petaluma Boulevard North to Washington Street and will
then- proceed easterly On East Washington Street to Kenilworth'
Park where it will disassemble . It 'is anticipated the parade
will last 'from 30 to 45' minutes;- and
WHEREAS ,. the, ,Chief of Police has submitted his written approval
of said Parade .'
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that -in 'accordance 'with 'the' 'pro-
visions of Chapter 21 of the Petaluma City Code Of 1958 , a permit be
granted to Mr. Charles' C . Carter', Vice 'Presi'dent,National Little League ,
to hold the Annual Little League Parade On Saturday, April 15 , 1972;
under the:power�.and authority conferredupon.this Council by the Charter of said City.
