. RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT 'FOR PURCHASE OF
PORTABLE RADIOS FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT

the City Council of the City of Petaluma on the 5th / day of June 19.12.
BE IT RESOLVED. THAT the bid and offer of .Motorola' Communications and
- Eleetronic•s ; ' Inc . , whose address is ' 1170 Chess Drive ; ' San ' Mateo
94404 - , dated. ' June' 1 , 1972 , offering to sell
to the City of Petaluma Portable Radios for the Police Department in accord-
ance with the City' s specifications as forth in the Notice to Bidders ,
duly published, for the total slum of Ten Thousand Three Hundred Four Dollars
and' Eighteen Cents ($10 ;304 :.18) . . . . . . , which said bid is the best offer
filed by a responsible bidder in response' to the Notice to Bidders , be and
the same is hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all other bids filed for said Portable
Radios for the Police Department be, and the same are hereby rejected, and
the City Clerk is directed to return all bidders' bonds or checks accompany-
ing said bids to said unsuccessful bidders, and that the check accompanying
said successful bid be returned to said successful bidder upon the delivery
of the Portable Radios.
