HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 6067 N.C.S. 06/19/1972 EER: fs 6/14/,72 , ;'esolution No 6,067 , RESOLUTION SUPPORTING IN PRINCIPLE THE SONOMA COUNTY LOCAL 'AGENCY FORMATION COMMISSION' S PROPOSED METHODOLOGY CRITERIA FACTORS AND POLICIES' 'FOR ESTABLISHING CITY SPHERES OF INFLUENCE INTRODUCED BY COUNCILMAN IOC at At A Regular Meeting of Alinlidprethitie the City Council of the City of Petaluma on the 19th day of° June 19 72 BE IT RESOLVED THAT WHEREAS the 'Sonoma County Local Agency Formation Commission has presented a study and proposed methodology, criteria, factors and policies to be used in establishing city spheres of influence which this Council approves in principle; NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED that the 'City Council of the City of Petaluma declares that it supports in principle the aboveTmentionedreport and directs that the Mayor , the City' s Repre- sentative to LAFCO, so state to that body. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is directed to • forward a copy of this resolution to LAFCO. under the--power-and authorry-conferred-Upon-this Council by the Charter of said City.
