It describes objectives for ,pre-emergency preparations and establishes criteria/guidelines for coordinated and integrated responses to hazardous materials incidents, releases or threatened releases. As such "Administering Agencies" (a designation granted to the_Fire Department by the City Council in 1986) must review and readopt the,document-every three years. The document has been reviewed by fire personnel and meets the parameters for Haz-mat responses In the City of Petaluma. This is the 2000 revised version, replacing the existing 1997. document. A copy of the plan is available for review'inthe.Fire Marshal's Office. The City of Petaluma, by-adoption of Resolution 86-129; authorizing the Fire Department to 25 be designated as an administrating agency. 26 27 2. The Petaluma City Council hereby adopts the "Sonoma County Operational Area Hazardous 28 Materials Incident Response Plan," dated August 2000.
