Potential City Council Agenda;Items- REVISED
Item 2: Discussion and Possible Directionaegardihrl Reeional Water Policies and Prourams
The City Council has been provided various discussion items regarding.Amendment 11
Memorandum of Understanding, Petaluma Aqueduct agreement and the background documents
on.the Potter Valley Project and the Transmission Pipeline Project including Wohler Intake
Collector No. 6.
Water conservation items are scheduled for the March 5`h City Council meeting regarding
recycling of old toilets, landscape water:audits, CIS mapping,and Bond Park audit, promotion of
water conservation activities arid:contiriued industrial efficiency program.
Scheduled for the April 2n "City Council meeting, are water conservation activities regarding
landscape water efficiency,standardsi for the City and ordinances regulating water shortage
emergencies and water waste prohibitions.
Tentatively scheduled for the March 19`h'meeting is the presentation of the Urban Water
Management Plan by the Sonoma County Water Agency and City management.
The City elected officials'and management are actively involved in the Sonoma County Water
Agency Water Advisory Committee, the'North Bay Watershed Association;and the Mayors and
Councils Water Policy,_Committee. Updates could be provided at the March 5th Council meeting
from each group. '
