15 APPROVAL OF MINUTES: M/S Barrett/Rose to approve the minutes of November

17 PUBLIC COMMENT: None
18 DIRECTOR''S REPORT: None
19 COMMISSIONER'S REPORT Commissioner• Barrett attended the Planning
20 Commissioner's seminar at Sonoma State University —will pass out information to other
21 commissioners. Rockridge: noticed two things, eucalyptus trees on Western were cut
22 down; there is a huge hole on the site fronting Windsor Drive.. George White addressed
23 both issues for Commissioner Barrett.
24 CORRESPONDENCE: Handout by Gary Binger passed out at places.
25 APPEAL STATEMENT: Was noted on the agenda.
26 LEGAL RECOURSE STATEMENT: Was noted on the agenda.

31 I. PETALUMA ARTS COUNCIL
32 Informational presentation on Public Art by the Petaluma Arts Council.

34 Alison Marks, Petaluma Arts Council: Gave some background and vision for a public
35 art program.

I Edwin Hamilton, Petaluma Arts Council: Presented examples of public art.

3 Commissioner McAllister I think it would be great to get this program going. Believe
4 it can be a win win situation for the community and the developers.

6 Commissioner Asselmeier: I believe the Southgate project would have benefited from a
7 public art element.

9 Allison Marks: We are looking forward to, this program being part of the planning
10 process.

12 Commissioner Barrett: The Rivertown apartments just came to SPARC and I think it
13 would have been beneficial to have artist on board for that project. I believe public art
14 more than pays for itself.

13 d. Tree Advisory Committee: Discussion of 100-year old tree removed on
