the City Council of the City of Petaliniia on the 26th day of July 19 71

WHEREAS, the adoption of Resolution No . 5656 N .C .S .
established a moratorium on zoning reclassifications and annexa-
tions to the City. of Petaluma until Planning Consultants could
be employed to examine 'the exisitng, zoning in the City, furnish
reports , and make recommendations; and
WHEREAS , ,the Planning Consultants, have not as yet
completed their assignment, and the Planning Commission has
recommended to this Council that the moratorium be extended
for a period of Ninety;. day's ;'
NOW, THEREFORE,. BE IT 'RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of Petaluma declares. that the moratorium shall be
extended to the 07th day of . . (2ctober., • , .1971, or earlier
upon direction of this Council , or at such date as the Council
shall have received and approved the Planning Consultants '
reports and .;recommendations .
under the power and-authority'conferred'upon this Council by the Charter of said City.
