Page 1 1 Section 2. Traffic and engineering surveys are completed and are hereby 2 3 expressly approved as speed limits for the streets to which they apply herein. 4 5 6 Section 3 . If any section, subsection, sentence, clause or phrase or word of this 7 8 ordinance is for any reason held to be unconstitutional, unlawful or otherwise invalid by 9 a court of competent jurisdiction, such decision shall not affect the validity of the 10 11 remaining portions of this ordinance. The City Council of the City of Petaluma hereby 12 declares that it would have passed and adopted this ordinance and each and all 13 14 provisions thereof irrespective of the fact that any one or more of said provisions be 15 16 declared unconstitutional, unlawful or otherwise invalid. 17 18 19 Section 4 . This ordinance shall become effective thirty (30) days after the date 20 21 of its adoption by the Petaluma City Council. 22 23 24 Section 5 . The City Clerk is hereby directed to post this ordinance for the period 25 26 and in the manner required by the City Charter. 27 28 INTRODUCED and ordered posted/wed this 18th day of October 2004. 29 30 31 ADOPTED this 1St day of November 2004 by the following vote: 32 33 34 AYES: Mayor Glass, Harris, Healy, Vice Mayor Moynihan, O'Brien, Thompson, Torliatt 35 36 NOES: None 37 ABSENT: None 38 39 RECUSED: Harris (on Hartman Lane portion) 40 41 42 43 David A.
