of the City of Petaluma, California
APPROVING INSTALLATION OF MEDALLIONS
ON THE SOUND WALL FOR THE MSN PROJECT
WHEREAS, the Caltrans MSN Project is currently in the final design phase; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council heard a presentation on the proposed medallions to be
installed on the sound wall for the MSN Project; and,
WHEREAS, three medallion designs have been provided and recommended by the City
of Petaluma Art Committee and Caltrans; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Petaluma wishes to have these three medallions installed in
series, near the beginning and end of the sound walls proposed, for future segments of the MSN
Project in Petaluma.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Petaluma approves the installation of the three medallion designs shown in Exhibit A to this
resolution on sound walls to be constructed as part of the Caltrans MSN Project in Petaluma.
Under the power and authority conferred upon this Council by the Charter of said City.
