Potential City Council Agenda Items - REVISED
Item 2: Discussion and.Possible Direction Regarding Regional Water Policies and Programs
The,City Council has been provided various discussion items;regarding Amendment 11
Memorandum of Understanding, Petaluma Aqueduct agreement:and the background documents
•, on the Potter Valley Project and the Transmission Pipeline Project including Wohler Intake
Collector No. 6. •
Water conservation items;are,scheduled for the,March 5` City Council meeting regarding
recycling of old toilets, landscape'water audits, GIS mapping and Bond Park audit, promotion of
water conservation activities-and.continuedindustrial'efficiency program.
Scheduled for the April 2nd City Council meeting;,are water conservation activities,regarding
landscape water efficiency standards for the.City and.ordinances'regulating water shortage
emergencies and water waste prohibitions.
•
Tentatively scheduled;for the March 19 th meeting is',the presentation of.the Urban Water
Management Plan by the Sonoma'County Water Agency and City management.
The City elected officials and`management'are actively involved in the Sonoma County Water
Agency Water Advisory Committee, theNorth Bay Watershed.Association and the Mayors and
'Councils Water Policy,Committee. Updates could'be provided,`at the March 5th Council meeting
from.each•group.
