'Here is'what`the Final EIR saysriat;pages'61-62 of Volumes I: (a copy of the entire.pages 61 to-62 is,attached for'ease ofreference) . P o "The Revised DER-contains an extensive description of exlstu7, roadway deficiencies,on Sonoma Mountain Road -I roadway,improvement needs. . 4t ages 1,60-161. the • Revised DEIR-'identifies,potentially.significant project impacts on the roadway, i.e. the • ii;creased±naffic,will;subject,additional pedest;•ians;'bicyclists, and.drivers to the identified-traffic safety hazards. The City Council meeting Is,set for 7:00 p.m., following a;closed session at 6:30 p.m. . - 2 The County-recognizes'that the City, of Petaluma:has exclusive decision--making authority with:respept;;to:-Whether or not to open the Lafferty:Ranch as a public park 3. After reviewing the City's Final:EIR, the,Direttor''Of Transportation & Public ' Works and the Board;noted.that the,Final,EIR makes statements about the inabilitylof the 4 ' City, as part ofits„Lafferty Ranch project, to mitigate signineantuadverse;environmental I impacts to ,Sonoma Mountain Road.
