AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING SPEED LIMITS ON
CERTAIN STREETS IN THE CITY OF PETALUMA
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PETALUMA AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That pursuant to California Vehicle Code 22357, 22358, and
22358.2 the radar enforceable speed zones on the following Petaluma City streets are
hereby approved:

16 Section 2. Previously established radar enforceable speed zones, for which the
17 traffic and engineering survey are still valid are hereby expressly approved as speed
18 limits for the streets to which they apply.

20 Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to publish/post this ordinance for
21 the period and in the manner required by the City Charter.

23 IF ANY SECTION, subsection, sentence, clause or phrase or word of this ordinance is
24 for any reason held to be unconstitutional by a court of competent jurisdiction, such
25 decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this ordinance. The
26 City Council of the City of Petaluma hereby declares that it would have passed and
27 adopted this ordinance and each and all provisions thereof irrespective of the fact that
28 any one or more of said provisions be declared unconstitutional.
