LOCA'I'ED WITFiIN T~E CI7'~' OF PETAI~UMA, EAS'T WASF[iNGTON STflZEE`I'
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE Council of the City of Petaluma as follows:
Section 1. Certain real property located in the City of Petaluma, County of Sonoma, State
of California which was purchased specifically for recreation purposes, is hereby authorized to be
leased under the terms and conditions set forth in the Lease by and between the City of Petaluma
and Redwood Empire Sports Associates, Inc., which Lease is attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and
incorporated herein by reference and the City Manager is hereby authorized to sign said Lease
which is for the use of a softball complex.
Section 2. The City Clerk be, and she is hereby directed to publish/post this ordinance for
the period and in the manner required by the City Charter.

particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a 3/4" iron pipe tagged LS4176 at the Southwest comer of the said lands of The
City of Petaluma; thence along the WesterIy line ehereof, Norch 35°20'00" East, 1,501.10 feet to
a 3/4" iron pipe tagged LS4176; thence continuing aiong said Westerly line, Norch 35°20'00"
East, 1.37 feet to the Nonhwest corner thereof; thence along the Northerly line thereof, South
54°21'S4" East, 210 fees; thence Ieaving said Northerly line, South 23°41'00" West, 136.00 feet;
thence South 3° 13'00" East, 94.00 feet; thence South i i°s l'S3" West, 225.19 feet; thence South
63°24'00" East, 45.00 feer thence South 26°36'00" West, 100.00 feet; thence South 48°24'00"
East, 325.64 feet; thence along a tangent curve, concave to the West, having a radius of 330.00
feet, thru a central angle of 26° 14'42" for a length of 151.16 fee~ thence South 22°09' 18" East,

Basis of Bearings: The above described 3/4" iron pipes tagoed LS4176, being set by James E.
Mci~Iamara in February T987, a preliminary copy of a Record of Survey showing said monuments
is in the office of the County Surveyor in fiIe R/S 90-055.
