AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE MEADOWPARK OFFICE COMPLEX
PLANNED UNIT DISTRICT ZONING DISTRICT ORDINANCE NO. 1669 N.C.S., TO
DELETE BANK BRANCHES AS A CONDITIONAL USE AND ADD BANK
BRANCHES AS A PRINCIPALLY PERMITTED USE, PORTIONS OF ASSESSOR'S
PARCEL NUMBERS 137-170-32 AND 137-180-28
22 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PETALUMA AS
23 FOLLOWS:

25 Section 1. The Council finds that the Planning Commission filed with the City Council
26 on January 12, 1992, its report as set forth in the minutes of December 8, 1992,
27 recommending the adoption of an amendment to the Meadow Park Office Complex
28 Planned Unit District Zoning District Ordinance No. 1669 N.C.S., as amended by deleting
29 Bank Branches as a "conditional use" and adding Bank Branches as a "Principally
30 Permitted" use on lands being more particularly described as Assessor's Parcel Numbers
31 137-170-32 and 137-180-28.

33 Section 2. The City Council further finds that said Planning Commission held a public
34 hearing on said proposed amendment to the Meadow Park Office Complex Zoning District
35 No. 166 N.C.S., as amended, on December 8, 1992 and January 12, 1993, after giving notice
36 of said hearing in the manner, for the period and in the form required by said Ordinance
37 No. 1072 N.C.S., as amended.

39 Section 3. Pursuant to the provisions of Zoning Ordinance No. 1072 N.C.S., as
40 amended, the City Council finds the proposed amendment in general conformity with the
41 Petaluma General Plan, and further, that the public interest, convenience and general
42 welfare will be furthered by the proposed amendment.

1 Section 4. Pursuant to the provisions of Zoning Ordinance No. 1072 N,C.S., as
2 amended, and based upon the evidence it has received and in accordance with the findings
3 made, the City Council hereby adopts amendment to said Zoning Ordinance No. 1669
4 N.C.S. so as to amend said Zoning District for property hereinbefore referred to in
5 accordance with the recommendation of the Planning Commission.

Section 5. The City Council finds that the requirements of the California
Environmental Quality Act relating to this project have been satisfied through preparation
of focused environmental studies approved by Resolution No. 86-307 N.C.S. on November
17, 1986, and a subsequent initial study of environmental impacts directly related to this
project.
Section 6. The City Clerk is hereby directed to post this Ordinance for the period and in
the manner required by the City Charter.
IF ANY SECTION, subsection, sentence, clause or phrase or word of this ordinance is for
any reason held to be unconstitutional by a court of competent jurisdiction, such decision
shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this ordinance. The City Council of
the City of Petaluma hereby declares that it would have passed and adopted this ordinance
and each and all provisions thereof irrespective of the fact that any one or more of said
provisions be declared unconstitutional.
