FOLLOWS:
Section 1,. There is hereby appropriated for th°e, usual and ordinary
expenses of the City of Petaluma for the period of July 1., 1.992 to June 30, ,1993,
the amounts set in the attached Exhibit A, incorporated by herein reference and
distributed to the variousfunds as set out in said exhiha and shall be expended
and used in accordance therewith.
Section 2. Changes with relation. to the above appropriation between
each respective department or-fund may be made by resolution adopted by the
City Council. The City 1Vlanager may adrninistr.atively make changes within the
departmental appropriations as approved s,o long as the total amounts do not
exceed, as a result of the change, the amounts set forth in the approved
department appropriations.
Section 3. The City Council hereby finds and determines that the
amount of approp-nations provided hereby does not exceed the estimated revenue
:and other available funds of t'he City for the fiscal year ending J-une 30, 1993.
Section 4. A11 ordinances or parts of ordi`namces in conflict herewith
.are hereby repealed.
Section 5. This ordinance is hereby declared:to be necessary for the
immediate preservation of th'e public peace, health and,~safety of the City of

Petaluma, and shall take effect and be in force from and after its final passage by a
unanimous vote of the mern'ber~of: the City Council present at the-time of its
ad'o.ption. The reason for t°he urgency is so that the-work authorized to be
accomplished hereby may be properly cheduled and spaced over the fiscal year to
furniah the City th:e ordinary operating expenses of the'City and particularly those
rela:tin:g to.the protection of the public peace, health, and' safety.

Section 6. The City Clerk is hereby directed to post/publish this
ordinance for the period an_d in the manner required by the City Charter.
