Mayor Cavanagh Bonnie Nelson 8 9 10 11 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE 12 OF 13 EXCESS, RIGHT-OF-WAY PROPERTY 14 OFF FLAHERTY AVENUE 15 ADJACENT TO MRS. HAZEL ANDRESEN'S PROPERTY 16 IN 17 THE 'CI.TY OF PETALUMA, CALIFORNIA 18 MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED IN THE BODY OF THIS ORDINANCE 19 20 21 Section 1. On 4/29/91, the Council of the City of Petaluma 22 passed Resolution No. 91-102 N.C.S. ordered vacated, 23 abandoned and forever closed to public use that certain real 24 property more particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached 25 hereto. 26 27 Section 2. Said Resolution authorizes the City Manager to 2.8 negotiate an agreement to dispose of the underlying real 29 property. 30 31 Section 3. The real property owned by the City of Petaluma, 32 and more particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached 33 hereto, is considered excess land and is hereby authorized 34 to be sold to Mrs. Hazel Andresen for a total purchase price 35 of $4,000. 36 37 Section 4. It is deemed -to be in the best public interest 38 and for the common benefit of the City of Petaluma, for the 39 City to sell this property in the manner stated above as 40 provided by Government Code section 37350. 41 42 Section-5. The City Clerk is hereby directed to 43 post/publi.sh-th'is ordinance for the period and in the manner 44 required by the City Charter.
