AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF EXCESS RIGHT-OF-WAY
PROPERTY OFF INDUSTRIAL AVENUE WITHIN THE PROPOSED
AUTO CENTER IN THE CITY OF PETALUMA, CALIFORNIA,
MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED IN THE BODY OF THIS ORDINANCE
Section 1. On July 2, 1990, the Council of the City of Petaluma passed Resolution
No. 90-225 ordered vacated, abandoned and forever closed to public use that certain real
property more particularly described in Exhibit A attached hereto.
Section 2. Said resolution authorizes the City Manager to negotiate an agreement
to dispose of the underlying real property;
Section 3. The real property owned by the City of Petaluma and more particularly
described in Exhibit_ A attached hereto, is considered excess land and is hereby authorized
to be sold to Henry Hansel, Marilyn Hansel, Stephen Hansel, and Carol Hansel for a total
purchase price of $55,000.00.
Section 4. It is deemed to be in the best public interest and for the common benefit
of the City of Petaluma for the City to sell this property in the manner stated above as
prgyided by Government Code section 37350.
Section 5. The City Clerk is hereby directed to post/publish this ordinance for the
period and in the manner required by the City Charter.

lands are described by Deed recorded under Doc. No. 85-
002674' and 85-0321.19, C(t Official Records, Sonoma County
Records .(SCR), more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the common,Northeasterly corner of Parcels 1
and 2 as shown upon Petaluma Parcel Map ;recorded in Book 366
of Maps, at page 24, of' Official Records,, Sonoma County
Records (SCR)., said corner being marked by. a 1/2" iron pipe
tagged RCE 26312; thence along the Northeasterly boundary of
said Parcel 2, North 5:50 07' 00" Wiest, 341.7'6 feet to the
true point of beginning of the parcel herein described;
thence leaving said boundary, South.340 53' 001, West, 181.11
feet;, thence on a curve to the left with radial bearings of
South 5510071.00" East and South 450 401'1411° West having,a
radius of 30.00 feet, a central angleof 7,90 12' 46" for a
length of 41.48. feet to a point on the Northeasterly right
of -way of Industrial Ave.; thence Northwesterly along said

12 time to time to construct, maintain, operate, replace,
13 remove, renew and enlarge lines of pipe, conduits,,cable,
14 wires,.poles and other convenient structures, equipment and.
15 fixtures for the operation of telegraphic, and telephone
6 lines and other communication facilities, including access
17 and the right to keep the property free from,inflammable
18 materials and wood growth, and otherwise protect the same
19 from all hazards, in upon, over and across a 10' portion
20 adjacent to Industrial Ave. in said street to be abandoned;"
