YOUTH DELEGATE PROGRAM
The Youth•Delegate.Program of the Petaluma Community Health Foundation was
established in 1996 as a way for our youth to become involved in community efforts
relative to:health care needs.* Youth Delegates participate in the planning of events
established by the Foundation Board of Trustees.
OFFICERS Youth Delegates are selected from-four high schools, Petaluma High School, Casa
Anne President Abbott Grande High School, St. Vincent's High School, and Rancho Cotati High School.
Selections are based onreferrals:by counselors, teachers or sitting youth delegates.

Steven Geney events sponsored by the Friends of the Hospital.

HONORARY as this year) it is for Junior High School students. Organization for tickets, flyers,
. Alfred,:A.Alys chaperones;band, security, and location are all arranged by the Youth Delegate
Virginia Bercaw Committee members. The proceeds from,each dance allow the Youth Delegates to

Service:and to develop an understanding of what if takes to'make something
important happen in our community. We appreciate,the City Council's support for
our endeavors.
*The.brochure entitled "Growing into ourfuture...Rooted in our history"will explain the
relationship,between the Community Health Foundation and the Petaluma Health Care
• District,,as well as provide further information,on the Foundation's work.
