HEALTH• F O U N D A !T I O N YOUTH DELEGATE PROGRAM The Youth•Delegate.Program of the Petaluma Community Health Foundation was established in 1996 as a way for our youth to become involved in community efforts relative to:health care needs.* Youth Delegates participate in the planning of events established by the Foundation Board of Trustees. OFFICERS Youth Delegates are selected from-four high schools, Petaluma High School, Casa Anne President Abbott Grande High School, St. Vincent's High School, and Rancho Cotati High School. Selections are based onreferrals:by counselors, teachers or sitting youth delegates. Frederick-Groverman, D.V.M. While there is no set number,of Youth.Delegates, we try to have each class from all Vice President four schools represented. Most delegates have,retumed for future service after their Anthony Ft Meyers first year. Treasure Stephanie Bodi Over the past five:years,there have been'atotal of 40 youth delegates participating etary on the Foundation Board of Trustees. Delegates have been part of the planning TEES process-for alLfitndraisers organizedby the Foundation Board. Such events include: Gina Benedetti-Petnic Health Fairs,River Festival, Butter& Eggs Day Parade, golf tournaments, as well as Steven Geney events sponsored by the Friends of the Hospital. Some years the dance is.for senior high school students and other years (such • HONORARY as this year) it is for Junior High School students. Organization for tickets, flyers, . Alfred,:A.Alys chaperones;band, security, and location are all arranged by the Youth Delegate Virginia Bercaw Committee members. The proceeds from,each dance allow the Youth Delegates to Franklin J.
